Addressing Modes

  • #0x6F20 - Immediate
    • Points to the operand's memory address, returns the value of the operand (in this example, 0x6F20).
  • &0x6F20 - Direct
    • Points to memory address 0x6F20, returns the value at that memory address.
  • &$0x6F20 - Direct Relative
    • Just like direct, but the memory address is calculated by adding up 0x6F20 and the current memory address (PC).
  • @0x6F20 - Indirect
    • Points to memory address XXXX, where XXXX is the value at memory address 0x6F20, returns the value at memory address XXXX.
  • @$0x6F20 - Indirect Relative
    • Just like indirect, but XXXX is read from memory address 0x6F20 + PC.
  • NNNN - Register Direct
    • Points to a specific register in internal memory, returns the value of that register.
  • @NNNN - Register Indirect
    • Points to memory address XXXX, where XXXX is the value at register NNNN; returns the value at memory address XXXX.
  • BBBB - Bit
    • Points to a specific bit, returns de value of that bit.
