We have a tutorial section for those new to the game, and a reference section for those of you who already know the game but just need to access some quick reference information. We also have an entire code library in which you may find code samples to help you learn about bot virtual programming.

Please spread the word about this game to friends and coworkers. Feel free to link to it on your web pages. If you have code or literature that you would like to contribute to the site contribute it here. About Doc Bot What is this Doc Bot stuff, you may be wondering? Doc Bot is a free game about programming virtual robots to do tasks for you. There are many different things you will need them to do, from collecting resources to battling other robots. As with other programming games, you will not be able to control your robots once you have started playing a scenario, but instead will write a program to control them before-hand, and then let them loose to complete the scenario by themselves.

Tutorials When you are first starting to learn a new programming language, it is often easier to learn through tutorials that explain how specific tasks are accomplished. We have put together some tutorials to help you quickly jump into the fray and learn by coding yourself!

Documentation Programming is not an easy task, and programming a virtual robot in Doc Bot is not easy either. The programming language used to control the virtual robots is a simplified version of the 8052 microcontroller assembly language but, even if it is simplified, it can still be a daunting task to learn it. To make it easier on you, we have included a complete reference section detailing the way this particular language works and the complete instruction set.
