Hardware Cycle

Hardware Cycles are sometimes called H-Cycles or Component Cycles.

A brief recap of the Hardware Cycle sequence as applied to each hardware component of each robot:

  1. If heat threshold exceeds the component's specifications, the rest of the sequence is skipped.
  2. Otherwise it executes its operation.
    1. External port data is sent immediately if needed.
    2. Acceleration vectors are updated immediately if needed.
  3. Heat generation and dissipation rates for the component are calculated.
